The Department of Economics is a department of the Faculty of Applied Economics of the University of Antwerp.
Its current chairman is Guido Erreygers.

Research in the Department of Economics at the University of Antwerp focuses mainly on applied economics and economic policy, organized in 7 fields: macroeconomic policy, labour economics, economics of innovation, the history of economic thought, industrial organization, health economics and public economics.

The department frequently organizes research seminars where research by department members as well as invited speakers is presented for discussion. We will be happy to welcome you on one of these meetings. 

The Department of Economics actively seeks interaction with its stakeholders. We therefore look forward to any comments you may have.
