Course "Academic presentation skills"

Programme
"Public speaking is one of the ten most feared events in people's lives, just a bit less scary than divorce." The present course will show that through careful linguistic planning, structuring and preparing any academic will 'survive' giving talks and lectures. Participants will work on their own materials (in English) and will get individual linguistic guidance. In this way they will (hopefully) experience that being a researcher and presenting research findings can be a harmonious partnership.
The course equals 10 contact hours
