2. Objectives (expected learning outcomes)
This course aims at giving a profound and critical study of the rules of law concerning the law of persons and family law.
 
Its objectives are:
 
-Thorough knowledge of law of persons and family law and insight into the application of legal rules on cases.
-Ability to make a critical and personal analysis of a legal problem.
-Ability to develop a logically structured argument, written and orally.
-Ability to make connections to other fields of law, e.g. the law of obligations and matrimonial property law. -Ability to make a comparison with foreign legal systems


3. Course content
Students work on an integrated case on the law of persons, vertical family law and horizontal family during the semester, on which practical and theoretical (oral and written) assignments must be carried out.
 
Assignments consist of:
-meetings in which a case is discussed
-meetings in which a writ or a pleading is discussed
-meetings in which a legal advice is discussed
-meetings in which policies of different legal systems are debated.
