Studying in the heart of Europe
The European Master in Globalisation, Corporate Responsibility and Law is a brand new study programme set up by a consortium of four European universities, which uses the acronym RUN (River Universities Network). The course is organized at the Law Faculties of Antwerp University (Belgium) and Toulouse I Capitole (France) together with the University of Glasgow (United Kingdom) and Krakow’s Jagiellonian University (Poland). The four universities jointly organize a first semester in Antwerp, consisting of courses and training. The second semester takes place mainly in Toulouse, with focuses on teaching as well as on research and thesis coaching.
A solid curriculum between law, economics and civil society Once seen as a merely voluntary practice, CSR (corporate social responsibility) is increasingly becoming not just a moral but also a legal obligation. The programme explores recent developments in a wide range of subjects including private international law, human rights, corporate governance, labor law and sustainable development. The Master brings together leading scholars from four European universities. While it takes a global view, ample attention will be given to the European dimension of the subject.
Combining practical and research experiences This full time European Master is designed for recent graduates and young professionals wishing to engage in advanced legal researches . It provides both practical and analytical knowledge, attracting also lecturers with professional experience in the field of corporate governance and CSR. In addition, selected one-week modules during the first semester will be offered to in-house lawyers, thus facilitating an exchange between the Master students and practitioners.
