Please note that we are currently working to expand our offer of English taught courses. We are trying to offer more courses, and at the same time aim at a better spread of these courses throughout the academic year.

Our goal is to offer an 'international semester' in the near future, making it more practical for incoming students to find suitable courses and sufficient content-specific credits.

But, for 2013 - 2014, please keep in mind that it will be quite a puzzle to get your courses ready!

Courses taught in Dutch

Erasmus students who wish to register for courses taught in Dutch

must demonstrate a good command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken (and do the exams in Dutch as well)
or

must ask permission from the professor, i.e. permission for an alternative assignment, and permission from the UA coordinator. This way, students don't have to attend the course itself, but will get the opportunity to write a paper instead of doing exams under supervision of teh professor/assistent

PLEASE CONTACT THE ERASMUS COORDINATOR OF YOUR DEPARTMENT FOR THIS:

Communication Sciences: Sil.Tambuyzer@ua.ac.be

Political Sciences: dorien.vanlooy@ua.ac.be

Sociology: clemens.deolde@ua.ac.be

The curricula
The introduction of the bachelors and masters following the Bologna-declaration is bringing major changes in the way higher education is organized in Flanders.
