3. Course content
Each year a specific aspect of media culture will be analysed. In the academic year 2007-2008, we are looking at the history of public broadcasting. Moving on from existing research, the group works on an oral history project interviewing (former) public broadcasting employees about their career. In this way, we want to gain a 'view from below', as opposed to official broadcasting histories written on the basis of official documents and policy analyses.
