2. Learning outcomes

Students must be able to perform financial calculations (in Excel).




3. Course contents

  • day count conventions
  • interest rate conventions (simple interest rate, compounded interest rate, continuous compounded interest rates)
  • relationships between the interest conventions and the products
  • net present value, Internal rate of return
  • annuities
  • applications
