Research Centre Commodity Flows - Finance

The University of Antwerp is a knowledge centre with 3.400 co-workers that performs ground-breaking and innovative research of international standing. Its Department of Transport and Regional Economics, belonging to the Faculty of Applied Economics, hosts the Research Centre on Commodity Flows. T he Research Centre on Commodity Flows is seeking to fill the following full time vacancy (m/f):

 

Junior research fellow

in the field of transport infrastructure finance

 

Job description : you are responsible for research support in the field of transport finance, with a quantitative focus ·   you start preparing a Ph.D in this area ·   your job will involve some flexibility of time allocated to longer-run research and short-run assignments at the Research Centre on Commodity Flows

 

Profile and requirements : you hold a degree of Master of Applied Economics (licentiaat TEW), or an equivalent Master or Advanced Master degree •  your research qualities are complementary to those of the Research Centre and the University •  relevant knowledge of transport finance, and related quantitative analysis techniques and modeling is required.

 

We offer : a position as a junior research fellow for a starting period of one year, with a possibility of prolongation after positive evaluation and availability of funds. Proposed start date is 1 February 2011.
