Courses Antwerp Doctoral School
January - june 2012
In the First half of 2012, the Antwerp Doctoral
School will offer the following courses: Word, Excel, Acces, Powerpoint,
Applied communication, Academic writing, Writing academic papers, Academic
presentation skills, Giving presentations in English, Scientific Reasoning,
Biostatistics.

ADS website. Registration will only be possible through
the new self service on the website.

Knowledge for Growth, Europe's largest regional
biotech convention organised by FlandersBio, gives you the opportunity to
present your research for a large public (1000 participants last year!). Your
research has to be about medical, plant or industrial biotechnology or medical
technology.

What are publications worth?
Infosession January
During this session you get a better idea of the importance of publications for
the research funding of the university, the way publications and citations are
counted and the position of the University of Antwerp concerning number and
impact of publications. On January 12th (4-6pm) a first (Dutch) session for
Social and Human Sciences takes place in De Grauwzusters (City Campus). On
January 19th (4-6pm) there will be a second (English) session for Natural and
Biomedical Sciences in the Promotiezaal (Campus Drie Eiken).romotiezaal (Campus Drie Eiken).
