The members of the External Advisory Board are appointed by the heads of institution of the partner universities and recruited from three spheres that are relevant to the Programme: business, government and academia. Some of the members come from associate partners of the Consortium. Their function is each academic year, on the basis of information given to them by the Joint Studies Board (exam results, success rates, content of the curriculum, results of the student questionnaire, etc.), to advise the academic authorities of the partner universities on issues of academic relevance and excellence, and to suggest possible changes in the curriculum in the light of new developments in the globalisation process.
