The Education, Learning, Styles, Individual differences Network (ELSIN) is an association of academics, researchers, trainers and practitioners in the fields of education, psychology, business, computer science, information systems, management and other related fields who are interested in the theory and application of learning and cognitive styles and strategies of learning and thinking. This interdisciplinarity is one of ELSIN's greatest strengths. |
ELSIN came into existence fifteen years ago during the first conference at the University of Birmingham's School of Education, organised as a response to emerging interest in issues relating to individual differences in learning and cognition and their relationship with performance in educational and occupational contexts.
