Bachelor-Master Structure

Higher Education in Flanders implemented the Bachelor-Master structure: a 3-year undergraduate cycle leading to a Bachelor's degree, followed by a 1-year or 2-year graduate cycle leading to a Master's degree. The Bachelor-Master structure has been gradually introduced from 2004-2005 onwards. For longer programmes (e.g. Medicine), the full implementation was completed in 2010.
