Students coming to Antwerp as an exchange student receive a tuition fee waiver from the University of Antwerp for the duration of their exchange period. This is a preliminary condition of all exchanges and stipulated in a bilateral agreement (Erasmus and others). Exchange students rely on their university or (inter)national schemes for obtaining a grant, Erasmus or others. 

All exchange students get financial support for attending an intensive Dutch class before or during their stay in Antwerp, organised by Linguapolis the Language Institute of the University of Antwerp www.linguapolis.be. They have to apply for a voucher with the International Relations Office, which entitles them to sign up at the reduced rate for exchange students  For more details go to language requirements

No other financial support is provided to exchange students by the University of Antwerp.
