With the aim of encouraging an international dialogue, ITMMA has successfully (co-)organized, and will continue to (co-) organize, a number of major international trend-setting events, conferences, symposia and seminars, such as the Maritime and Port Symposium ITMMAPS, held in Antwerp in April 2002 and October 2006, or the First International Conference on Logistics Strategy for Ports held in Dalian in September 2004.
