CO-OPERATION WITH CHILE
On 5 November 2003 Frank Van Laeken, Director of ITMMA, signed on behalf of ITMMA a Memorandum of Understanding between ITMMA - University of Antwerp and CEAMP(*) - Universidad Catolica de la Santissima Concepcion (UCSC). The signing ceremony took place in the prestigious 'Casa Central' of the UCSC, which is situated in the heart of the centre of Concepcion.
The forms of co-operation envisaged in this Memorandum of Understanding are: the strenghtening of the capacities of the professionals of CEAMP, staff exchange, scientific co-operation, student exchange and other activities.
During his stay in Chile, Mr. Frank van Laeken was also involved in a number of other activities.
