This year the award 'Prijs Callataÿ & Wouters' distributed by the Fund for Scientific research (FWO/FNRS) goes to Prof. Jacques Tempère. He is the laureate because of his original and profound study on econophysics which is in line of the overall goal of the award.

The inauguration will be held on Monday the 12th of December 2011 around 17.30h in the buildings of the FWO/FNRS.
