Inhoud The subject is approached primarily from a corporate viewpoint and emphasizes the planning aspect. The first part revises the interpretation of financial statements, the difference between income and cash fl ow, sustainable growth, working capital management and the concept of value creation. The second part covers the basics of investment decisions. A major topic is that of risk assessment and its impact on the required rate of return, and how it could impact on the fi nancial health and objectives of a company.
