2. Eindcompetenties
Upon completion of this course the student will:
1. Have gained a better understanding of the research process;
2. Understand how to conduct and interpret quantitative research as well as use quantitative methods to optimize data manipulation;
3. Understand how to conduct and interpret qualitative research as well as use qualitative methods to enhance quantitative surveys.
As a result of this course the student will develop his research skills and research techniques and the student will be in a better position to prepare and deliver his thesis and/or Ph.D.
This course will also contribute to successfully applying research in a non-academic or business environment allowing to support the decision-making process of management.

- Research process, research and management.
- Contribution research to the value chain.
- Theory construction and validity testing.
- Multivariance analysis.
- Framing and research outcome.
- Research in the Port Authority of Antwerp.
- Location research analysis.
