1. Prerequisites

This course builds upon Business and Economics Spanish 1.
*Sequentiality
This course is the continuation of 'Spanish for Business and Economics I'.
2. Objectives (expected learning outcomes)
- Increasing the student's active knowledge of general and specialized Spanish vocabulary
- Increasing the student's active knowledge of Spanish grammar
- Giving further training on the understanding of written and spoken discourse regarding socioeconomic subjects
- Giving further training on writing and speaking skills regarding socioeconomic subjects
3. Course content
- Grammar: development of previously acquired knowledge
- Vocabulary: extension of the general lexis; emphasis on more specialized (economic and business) lexis
- Landeskunde: a reading assignment will introduce some current socioeconomic and cultural aspects of the Spanish speaking world
