In-depth insight in national and European rules of insolvency law.
Being able to analyse and resolve cases of insolvency law
3. Course content
In this course we will focus on specific topics of insolvency law. Furthermore students will be acquainted with insolvency practice through guest lectures and case materials
Several topics will be discussed: bankruptcy prevention techniques, credit lending and security rights, discussing different insolvency procedure scenario's, international insolvency law rules (Uncitral model law, European Insolvency law, ...)
Apart from these general topics, we will discuss and analyse the new upcoming Belgian legislation on reorganisation of undertakings.
