1. Prerequisites

Active and passive knowledge of French after having taken the course "Grammar and Vocabulary I" (bachelor I) and after having acquired the credits for this course.

2. Objectives (expected learning outcomes)
Detailed study of the French grammar and optimalisation of the grammatical and lexical skills of modern French (reading, writing, speaking, listening).


3. Course content
Traditional (in-class) and computer assisted (individual) exercises of vocabulary, syntax and morphology of modern French. The student need not learn by heart the rules of the French grammar, but he must be able to apply them correctly! Grammar is studied in a traditional way as well as with a critical linguistic attitude. Language competence is brought to a high active and passive level.
