2. Objectives (expected learning outcomes)
Knowledge of the main theories in speculative philosophy of history.
3. Course content
This course deals with the prehistory of the philosophy of history in Antiquity and the Middle Ages, with the development of modern philosophy of history, with 19th century criticism of the philosophy of history, and with later philosophical theories of history.
