2. Objectives (expected learning outcomes)
The seminar has the purpose of training students in the reading of ancient philosophical texts in Dutch translation. First, it aims at a literal understanding of the text, including a critical attitude towards translations of Greek philosopical texts. Second, it will train students in analysing the philosophical arguments developed in the text.
