1. Prerequisites *Algemene competenties - secondary schooling - passive knowledge of English, German and French

2. Objectives (expected learning outcomes) - knowledge of different library systems, catalogues, databases, etc. relevant as sources for philosophical research - insight in the operational principles of the abovementioned systems - skill to extract relevant information from these systems
3. Course content Introduction to the library of the philosophy department, to the central library of the City Campus, to databases, to e-publications, to encyclopedia's, to philosophicial journals, etc. Introduction to the formal demands concerning bibliography and notes of papers and memoirs.
