2. Objectives (expected learning outcomes)
The student is able to explain and apply principles of general accountancy. The student knows and is able to use the basic principles of financial analysis and methods to calculate prices for an enterprise. The student is able to explain and apply the important principles of budgeting and cash balance management. The student knows the various economic and financial tools for investment analysis and is able to apply these in exercises.
3. Course content
The first part of the course explains the principles of general and industrial accountancy, followed by the analysis of the financial structures and financing of an enterprise. The next part discusses the analysis of cost price calculation, budgeting and cash balance management. The course provides insights into economic and financial tools to analyse investments. In addition, the basic tools for planning, monitoring and evaluation of activities in projects are discussed.
