Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Literature: Dutch-TFL
The full-time model path of the Bachelor of Linguistics and Literature consists of 180 ECTS-credits and takes three years. Each year/part of this model path consists of approximately 60 ECTS-credits. The number of ECTS-credits which you can choose freely varies between 9 and 12, depending on the number of ECTS-credits included in the basic courses which you chose. You calculate them by deducting the number of ECTS-credits of all compulsory courses from the obtainable 180 ECTS-credits.
For the free space you can choose:
- optional courses linked to the language(s) you have chosen or TFL
- general optional courses (to be taken from part 2)
- courses offered by the Institute for Jewish Studies (to be taken from part/year 2)
- all courses from the Bachelor programmes of Linguistics and Literature, History or Philosophy - For optional courses from another programme (outside the Faculty of Arts) you must submit an application to the study progress counsellor.
