Profile of the programme
This programme brings several aspects together: didactics and management, and focuses on regular education, as well as training in businesses, training centres and adult education.  Research skills are also taught.The programme is tailored to new needs in society such as lifelong learning and irregular educational settings.  There is also attention for educational processes and expansion of (post initial) business training, designing of (individual) courses in adult education, and of adapted educational models for in-service training and professionalization courses.
Occupational profiles of graduates
This new course prepares you for existing and new jobs.  You will be able to fill responsible policy (supporting) positions with a strong managerial dimension.  The graduate can take up a policymaking or supporting position:
  • As an educational assistant, advisor, educational counsellor or coordinator, test developer, teaching tools developer, designer of educational software, designer of educational programs and courses, editor of educational material, or education policy advisor. 
  • With a teaching establishment, a pedagogical counselling service, a publisher, the department of Education, a board of trustees, a government agency, a syndical organization, juvenile work, human resources in profit and non-profit companies, etc
  • As a teacher
  • As a researcher, leading to a PhD
