General admission criteria

Degree
The IELSP is open to graduates in Law and students who expect to graduate in Law prior to entering the IELSP. The term 'graduates in Law' includes all students who have completed the bachelor + master university curriculum in law, or a five-year law curriculum (for those countries whith a unified law degree with no seperation between bachelor and master), and have been awarded a law degree in their home country (without necessarily having taken subsequent State or professional examinations which would allow them to practice law or be admitted to the Bar).  Students with high grades will be the preferred candidates for admission. 
  
Language
All non-native speakers must demonstrate their English proficiency with a test result in the International English Testing System (IELTS, 7-7.5 pt minimum) or the test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), (computer based test: 250pt minimum, internet based test: 100pt minimum), with the following minimum section requirements:
Reading: 20
Listening: 20
Speaking: 20
Writing: 20
Students with a first or second degree with the English language as a medium of instruction do not have to submit a TOEFL or IELTS test report, but need a statement from their university that their education language was English.
