Prof. Dr. Anne-Marie Van den Bossche studied law at the universities of Ghent (1986, Dr.iur. 1994) and Exeter (LL.M. 1987). 
 
Prior to her appointment in February 2007 as a Professor of EU law at the University of Antwerp, she was Professor of EC law at the University of Nijmegen (Nl, 2000-2007), Law clerk (référendaire) at the European Court of Justice (Luxembourg, 1998-2000), and attached to the European Institute of the University of Ghent (1988-1998).
 
Her teaching and research covers European Institutional law, European Economic law, with particular emphasis on European Competition law and Judicial protection in the EU.
