Ann Coenen is als doctor verbonden aan het Centrum voor Stadsgeschiedenis en het N.W. Posthumus Instituut. Haar onderzoek focust op de invloed van internationale handel op de Vroegmoderne ontwikkeling van de Oostenrijkse Nederlanden. De studie richt zich op sleutelsectoren zoals textiel, colonial groceries, steenkool, zout en landbouwgoederen.
Ann Coenen is doctoral researcher, affiliated with the Centre for Urban History and the N.W. Posthumus Institute. In her research she focuses on the influence of international trade on the Early Modern development of the Austrian Netherlands. It centres on key commodities such as textiles, colonial groceries, coal, salt and agricultural goods.
