2. Learning outcomes
Students gain more insight in sustainable development.
3. Course contents
This course offers students a chance to further examine one aspect of the relation between environment and development. Possible topcis are: biodiversity, climate change, eco-tourism, overfishing, deforestation, urbanization, desertification,... After a general introduction to the chosen topic, students work in small groups on a specific case or point of view. At the end of the course, students present their work and discuss their contributions.
