Hans Verboven is Associate Fellow of the BASF - Deloitte Chair on Sustainability.  He teaches  Corporate Social Responsibility,  German Business Communication, Economic Projects and Heuristics at the Faculty of Applied Economic Sciences. He publishes on various topics (sustainability, SME's, CSR and business communication) in both national and international scientific journals and has edited and written various books.

He holds a Masters degree in English and German Language and Literature (magna cum laude) from the Catholic University of Louvain, a PhD (magna cum laude) from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and a Master in Management (cum laude) from the Free University of Brussels. He speaks five European languages: German and English (both near-native level) French, Italian  and Dutch (native speaker).
