Lieve Vangehuchten has a PhD in Spanish Linguistics (Université Catholique de Louvain, 2003) and is an Associate Professor of Spanish in the Faculty of Applied Economics (International Business Communication) at the University of Antwerp. Her main research interests are languages for specific purposes (corporate communication), second/foreign language acquisition, terminology, phraseology and corpus linguistics. She is the author of El léxico del discurso económico empresarial: identificación, selección y enseñanza en Español como lengua extranjera con fines específicos (Iberoamericana, Madrid, 2005) as well as some 30 research papers and articles (link: Academic bibliography).
