Past research

I have done my PhD at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven under the supervision of Dirk Roose and Giovanni Samaey on multiscale methods for the simulation of mechanical deformation of biological tissue. This was a nice collaboration with people from the MeBioS (Mechatronics,  Biostatistics and Sensors) division of the Department of Biosystems at the K.U.Leuven.

   PhD thesis

  • Coupling of Fine and Coarse Scale Models for the Simulation of Viscoelastic Plant Tissue
